About Honey Deer Photography

My name’s Marnie Molnar and I’m a wedding + elopement photographer in the North Okanagan, BC. 

I am also a mother to the sweetest little guy, a wife to the other sweetest guy, a Christian + an intense coffee lover. 

I’ve been taking photos since I was very young under my dad’s wings, and it grew to be a passion of mine. In high-school it would be rare to see me without my camera! Now that I’m a mom, my poor son is easily the most photographed kid ever. I can’t stop, he’s so cute!

I feel so blessed to be able to do what I am passionate about.
They say to do what you love, and I LOVE photography! Every photo shoot I do, I come home and am so pumped to start editing and deliver the images to my clients ASAP, because I love hearing their reactions! My favorite part of my job is that.  Hearing that the photos I captured made my clients cry is seriously the greatest!!

I’ve been through my fair share of camera changes, different styles and up’s + down’s in my photography but now I’ve got my style and mojo down-pat!

I looove to work with wedding clients closely, and I take pride in saying I feel like I am good friends with most of my brides + grooms, even years after their wedding! With all the communicating we do before and after the wedding, it's bound to happen! :) 
I think it’s so important to have fun and be comfortable when you’re being photographed, coming from someone who melts into a pretty big pile of awkward-jello anytime I’m in front of the camera!
